Refund Policy
This SSR view mirrors the in-app Refund Policy (RefundPolicyPage.tsx) for AI assistants and search crawlers. The in-app version at the live URL renders the same text with site styling. Keep the two in sync when either changes.
Effective Date: June 5, 2026
1. Free Trial
The 14-day free trial requires no payment method and is never charged — there is nothing to refund. When your trial ends without a subscription, your account enters a limited state: your work is kept and you can still sign in and access it, and subscribing restores full access.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a paid plan (Pro or Unlimited), you may request a full refund within 14 days of the charge, for any reason. Email support@musiciansxchange.com from the email address associated with your account. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
- Full refund available within 14 days of any charge.
- After 14 days, monthly charges are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
- You retain paid-tier access through the end of the current billing period.
4. Annual Subscriptions
- Within 14 days of the charge: full refund available, even if you have used the Service during those 14 days.
- After 14 days: pro-rated refunds on annual plans are offered at our discretion and only in exceptional circumstances, such as duplicate charge, billing error, or prolonged Service outage.
- If you cancel an annual subscription after the 14-day window, you keep paid-tier access through the end of your paid year.
5. Founding Members
Founding members receive lifetime Unlimited tier access at no cost and are not billed. There is nothing to refund.
6. Downgrades and Plan Changes
When you downgrade from Unlimited to Pro, you retain the higher-tier features through the end of your current billing period and no refund or credit is issued for the unused portion. Upgrades are prorated at checkout and a credit for the unused portion of your previous plan is applied automatically.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us first. We resolve most billing issues within 1-2 business days and a refund is usually the fastest path. Initiating a chargeback without contacting support may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is under review.
8. Payment Processor
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., our third-party payment processor. musiciansXchange is the merchant and seller of record for all subscriptions; refunds are issued by us to your original payment method via Stripe.
